sustainable world.In the role of Senior HR Generalist, you'll play
a pivotal part on our HR team. Safran Cabin Materials in Marysville
& Newport, WA is seeking a Senior HR Generalist with a strong focus
on talent development & training. This candidate will effectively
provide a wide variety of support in HR functions, including
employee relations, recruitment, benefits, compensation, policies,
procedures, training, and development/performance management. This
position reports to the HR Manager supporting 2 business units as
part of a shared HR team.Summary of Duties:
- Serve as a trusted advisor, resource to employees & managers on
HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, benefits &
employee relations.
- Communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards &
government regulations.
- Investigate & resolve employee relation issues. Document
initial complaint, determine scope of investigation, recommend
course action, document findings & summarize the
investigation.
- Represent the company for any unemployment claims.
- Collaborate with functional teams for special projects as
needed.
- Participate in operational improvement activities.
- Assist in the development, coordination, implementation of
systems, policies & procedures pertaining to human resource
functions, initiatives & projects.
- Support managers in the development of their direct reports;
help with career path/succession planning.
- Collaborate with managers to review, analyze feedback & create
action plans based on engagement surveys.
- Assist in the coordination of the annual performance
evaluation/merit increase process.
- Assist with conducting exit interviews, analyze findings & make
recommendations to reduce turnover.
- Develop, track, analyze key HR metrics, complete reports &
dashboards as requested by management/corporate.
- Maintain records of training, development activities & assist
managers with training projects.
- Identify training needs, assist in designing learning programs
& projects.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, offboarding & benefit
enrollment activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local employment laws &
regulations; reviews company policies & practices to maintain

Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.Minimum 5
years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist; 7 years HR
experience total/overall.Preferred Key Skills:Knowledge of state
and federal labor laws.Knowledge of HR concepts, best practices,
and procedures.Excellent verbal and written communication
skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive and
independent with the ability to take initiative.Excellent
interpersonal and management skills with the ability to direct,
motivate, and give constructive feedback.Ability to exercise an
extremely high degree of confidentiality with sensitive
information.Highly organized with an ability to multitask and excel
in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.Advanced level
skills with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint.Familiar with SAP and ADP products.Additional Preferred
Skills: (not required)HR certification preferred.8 years HR
