Can have experience in either Informix or Postgres. New role created! Six month contract: Up To $45/hr /W2 at State Supreme Court. Work remotely until Covid restrictions are over then on site in Richmond VA. They prefer local candidates This system is comprised of the Supreme Court of Virginia, the Court of Appeals of Virginia, circuit courts in thirty-one judicial circuits, general district and juvenile and domestic relations district courts in thirty-two districts, and magistrates in offices in thirty-two districts. The administrative office of the courts, known in Virginia as the Office of the Executive Secretary, supports the administration of the court system under the direction of the Chief Justice and the Executive Secretary. US Citizen, Green Card with Excellent verbal communication skills Interview: Phone Screen & Video Supporting existing legacy Informix databases and applications. In addition, the hired consultant will also have some exposure/experience to PostgreSQL database administration and development for supporting a long-term migration to PostgreSQL from Informix. Required Skills - 3+ years of Informix development skills - 2+ years of Informix database administration - Some training/experience in PostgreSQL (Development/Administration) - Database migration skills (ideally from Informix to PostgreSQL) - Database performance management - Database/Data modeling - Strong communication skills and positive attitude - Organized and self-sufficient with an attention to detail and Quality
