Position Purpose:
Designs architecture for an organization at an enterprise level. Defines system and application architecture and provides vision, problem anticipation, and problem-solving ability to the organization.
Participates in creating strategies and policies to meet overall business goals. Oversees implementation of architecture systems and advises adjustments to senior management.---
Drive the vision and innovation, standards, development processes, systems architecture, and design patterns to support IT and business solutions.
Build a holistic view of the organization's technology strategy, process and IT roadmap and enable the delivery of business capabilities and technology resources across multiple domains.
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and communicate long term vision and comprehensive strategic plans for infrastructure and/or enterprise architecture solutions
Develop comprehensive strategic reference architectures for infrastructure and/or enterprise Architecture disciplines
Partner with Business and IT leaders to drive business requirements into strategic designs
Serve as the technical expert for enterprise wide or companywide technology and/or application domains
Oversee systems design and architecture through leadership participation in architecture reviews
Drive standards for development and design techniques for infrastructure and/or Enterprise Architecture
Plan and integrate the work activities of virtual IT teams
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
Requires 5 - 7 years of related experience.
Or in lieu of education and experience, demonstrated work experience and accomplishments applicable to the level, duties and scope of this role
Technical Skills:
Specialized skills in the use of architecture frameworks, methodologies, and patterns through solution delivery. (TOGAF, IT4IT, DevOps, Agile, ITIL)
High degree of technical expertise in foundational architectural principles to build composable, distributed, hybrid and cloud-based systems
Experience in implementing modern architecture patterns, including Design Systems, Microservices, APIs, Events, Containers, CI/CD, Human Centered Development, Data Fabric/Mesh
Experience in leveraging Enterprise Architecture tools (e.g., Orbus iServer) for Technology and Portfolio Management
Deep understanding of operational and analytical data platforms, including RDBMS, NoSQL (MongoDB, Neo4J), Data Warehouse platforms (DataBricks, Snowflake)

Certified Cloud Solutions Architect preferred
The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification preferred
