Practice Overview:
Ankura's Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice is a full-service suite
of solutions to respond to clients' cybersecurity and privacy
needs, regardless of industry or size. Our team includes former Big

personnel, federal regulators, private security firms, and
technology companies. We are equipped and prepared to provide

Role Overview:
As a Director, Threat Intelligence, you will be a key member of the
cybersecurity investigations team supporting complex cyber
investigative engagements and performing and leading substantive
threat discovery and analysis activities while conveying your
results to internal and external customers. This is a remote based
role, but preference is for a candidate in the eastern or central
time zone.
Responsibilities:
Managing a diverse toolset to enable discovery, collections,
surveillance, threat analysis, correlation, and reporting.
Serving as a subject matter expert in cyber threat
intelligence.
Assembling, correlating, and contextualizing disparate sources of
data to drive investigations and inform clients.
Performing analyses to assess complex fact patterns and attribute
those patterns to activities, actors, or entities.
Applying analytical expertise, initiative, and innovative solutions
to support complex cyber issues to including incident response,
investigations, pursuit, and mitigation services.
Maintaining detailed records that document and report investigative
activities and results.
Supervising the use and employment of complex analytical tools,
processes, and procedures that enable operations and investigative
activities.
Preparing products for internal and external customers that detail
project activity, scope, and findings.
Work collaboratively with others in the practice and elsewhere in
the firm on various initiatives.
Development and presentation of project output to key stakeholders,
including Executive and Board Level individuals.
Participate in the development of standard operating procedures and
other practice initiatives.
Collaborate with practice management to provide input into
strategic initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a business or technology-related field.
6+ years of experience working in the field of cyber threat
intelligence with an emphasis on sophisticated criminals and nation
state actors/groups.
Working knowledge of investigative tool suites such as Domain
Tools, Maltego, Recorded Future, Flashpoint, and similar
products.
Experience fusing open-source collections with investigative
results.
Flexibility to travel as required.

Deep understanding and experience with dark web intelligence
gathering, as well as applying the gathered intelligence in the
context of a dynamic and fast-paced investigation.
Expertise with tools that enable cyber threat intelligence
collection, analysis, and research.
Fluent in cyber investigative matters to include threat
intelligence collection, incident response, evidence preservation,
and digital forensics.
Highly motivated, eager to learn, and able to energize others to
success.
