Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing robust, scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot, along with strong hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), Kafka messaging systems, and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes. This is a hybrid role requiring partial onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-level applications using Java and Spring Boot.


Implement and integrate cloud-native solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.


Work with Kafka for building scalable, event-driven microservices.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application reliability, scalability, and performance.


Develop CI/CD pipelines and participate in the release management process.


Work with Docker or Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.


Optimize Oracle database queries and procedures for performance.



Required Skills & Qualifications: 7 10 years of professional Java development experience.


Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and RESTful API development.


Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.


Deep understanding of Apache Kafka for event streaming.


Proficiency in working with Oracle databases.


Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes for container management.


Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
