Job Description:
Leidos has an exciting opportunity for an Imagery Scientist
(LIDAR) - to join our team in Springfield, VA. Our ideal candidate
will be able to demonstrate; Collect process data and perform data
analysis. Integrate centralized protect and maintain data in DBMS.
Clean massage and organized data. Perform ad hoc analysis and
present results in a clear manner. Communicate complex quantitative
analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner using
storytelling/visualization. Create/deploy/maintain cloud
applications to support migration of data and production processes
Create/deploy/maintain tools to extract features data and meta-data
from a variety of sources, including Raster to vector-to-vector
text to vector and text database. Write/maintain Python scripts in
Arc GIS to improve efficiency of the production process. Support
Business Processing Re-engineering. Perform Data
Conversion/migration Perform Business Analytics. Basic
Qualifications Typically requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of
prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior
relevant experience. BS in image science, remote sensing, earth
science, etc. 3 years processing & exploiting LIDAR data. ArcGIS,
QTModeler, ENVI. Active TS/SCI clearance Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency developing & delivering course materials (live &
recorded). MATLAB/IDL/similar. ArcGIS. Advanced degree. Sharepoint.
Amazon C2S, PKIs. Familiarity with emerging Artificial Intelligence
(AI) technologies, tools, and methodologies, with an understanding
of their applications, implications, and integration into daily
geospatial and intelligence workflows. Active TS/SCI CI Poly

Range: Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00 The Leidos pay range for
this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of
compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending
an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the
job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as
well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable
bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
