Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental and industrial services
across North America, is seeking a dedicated IS Driver Class B to
join our Transportation team. This role is vital in our mission to
protect the environment by responsibly transporting hazardous
wastes and contributing to our emergency spill response efforts. As
an IS Driver Class B, you will ensure safe and compliant transport
of hazardous materials, adhering strictly to governmental and
company regulations. Your role will directly support Clean Harbors'
commitment to sustainability and safety in handling hazardous
substances, aligning with our goal of creating a safer, cleaner
environment. Transport hazardous wastes safely and efficiently in
compliance with all federal, state, and local laws/regulations and
company policies. Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain
cleanliness and integrity of assigned vehicle. Complete and
maintain accurate logs, reports, and vehicle maintenance records.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure
timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Participate in emergency
spill responses as needed, providing timely and effective support.
Adhere to all safety guidelines to prevent incidents and accidents.
Strong time management and organizational skills. Effective
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain
composure in high-pressure situations. Proficient in using GPS and
other routing systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s
License (CDL). HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements. Clean driving
record. DOT physical examination certification.
