Warehouse Staff Location: East Coast Appliance 400 North Military Highway, Norfolk, VA 23502 Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (starting) Schedule: 40 hours per week (weekends required) About Us-East Coast Appliance has been locally owned and operated since 1988. We are the largest independent appliance dealer in Virginia, offering all major appliance brands. Through our partnership with BrandSource, we leverage $20B in buying power to compete with big-box retailers-while still delivering the personalized, 'white glove' service our customers expect. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery Manage inbound and outbound shipments Support daily warehouse operations Safety & Compliance Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies Maintain a safe, secure, and organized work environment Facility Maintenance Perform general warehouse upkeep Assist with inspections, inventory checks, and cleaning Qualifications At least 1 year of warehouse or distribution experience Working knowledge of warehouse operations Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Physical Requirements This is a highly physical role involving constant movement Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly Ability to move items up to 250 lbs using a hand truck
