Job Description:
Join Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a globally recognized
nonprofit organization dedicated to relief, development, and peace
initiatives, as a Printing Process Technician within our
Manufacturing & Production department. In this role, you will be
pivotal in overseeing and managing the printing processes for
various MCC publications and outreach materials, which are
essential in communicating our mission and achievements worldwide.
You'll work in a dynamic environment aiming to blend technical
proficiency with our commitment to quality and ethical
storytelling. Operate and maintain print production equipment
efficiently. Monitor print job specifications and ensure adherence
to quality standards. Troubleshoot issues with printing machines
and any associated equipment. Coordinate with the design and
content teams to manage production schedules. Implement sustainable
and cost-effective printing solutions. Record and maintain accurate
data on material usage, waste management, and production rates.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of printing equipment
to ensure optimal operation. Adhere to safety protocols and company
policies at all times. Proficiency in handling and maintaining
printing equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to
detail. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional
teams. Knowledge of different printing processes and materials.
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in the
