Our client, a leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Orange, VA Pay Range: $17.37-$18.37 Shift: 1st shift 7am-3pm 2nd shift 3pm-11pm 3rd shift 11pm-7am What's the Job? Operate fabricating machines such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punch presses. Read and interpret job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Set stops or guides to specified lengths using scales, rules, or templates. Ensure quality and precision in cutting, shaping, and bending metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures. What's Needed? No prior experience required; training provided. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and measurements. Strong attention to detail and focus on safety. Good communication skills and teamwork orientation. Willingness to work evening shifts and follow operational procedures. What's in it for me?
