Job Description:Manages the operational procurement activities
for the organization. Establishes and improves cost-effective
methods of procurement of goods and services for the organization.
Responsible for the hiring, terminating, performance appraisals,
and pay reviews of operations purchasing personnel.* Job
Description* Essential Job Functions* Measures effectiveness of
operations through internal and external periodic feedback
procedures. Reports feedback, recommends and implements changes as
appropriate.* Develops and manages the Supply Chain Back Office
infrastructure for Procure to Pay ERP system. Purchase Orders,
Purchase Requisitions, analytics, and reporting, processes, and
policy compliance.* Selects and hires employees. Trains and
evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and
work product. Addresses performance issues and makes
recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards
employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and
promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines.*
Defines tasks and activities of staff methodologies, clearly
describing deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff
members. Ensures development and use of personnel is effective in
achieving financial goals. Oversees operational controls to monitor
performance and maximize the return on manpower investment.
Measures project progress against plan.* Approves overall project
plan, budgets, task descriptions and work breakdown structure,
developing schedules, and contingency plans. Responsible for work
status assessment and reporting. Responsible for controlling all
expenditures on the work activity.Basic Qualifications* Bachelor's
degree or equivalent combination of education and experience*
Master's degree in business administration or related field
preferred* Twelve or more years of procurement management
experience* Eight or more years of managing a remote team*
Experience working with procurement practices* Experience working
with company policies and procedures* Experience working with
supply sources and pricingOther Qualifications* Strong organization
skills to balance and prioritize work* Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills* Strong communication skills* Strong human
relations skills to select, develop, mentor, discipline and reward
employees* Strong negotiation skills to negotiate best buy
purchases* Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWork
Environment* Remote or Office environment
