Primary Care Network Opportunity Qualifications, Education and Skills Requisites Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License Provisional Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Eligible Mandatory Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Mandatory Role and Facility Information Who we are: Our Medical Clinic has been providing full service medical care to patients in Richmond for the past 20 years. Our group family practice has 3 full time physicians, 1 consultant psychiatrist, and 2 midwives. What We Will Do: With 20 years experience having Associate Family Physicians and supervising IMGs, we have built up a large patient base and we are one of the busiest medical clinics in the Richmond area. We believe we can help you to build up your new patient panel immediately with opportunities to serve unattached Richmond Residents. We have strong professional and communication skills. Our experienced practitioners have skills in women and children care, chronic complex disease care, mental health, pain management, skin care etc. We believe we can help you to get into your role quickly. We can provide you full medical and administrative support which will allow you a smooth start. What you'll do: An opportunity exists for a Family Physician in a group based practice in Richmond/Steveston, BC who will be working as part of a group of 4-5 physicians where your Family Practice skills will be an asset. Ancillary health care providers will be available for support with the Primary Care Network initiatives. We have built a brand new, state of the art facilities and have 20 years experience with supporting Associate Physicians. Who you are: --- Eligibility: Provisional OR unrestricted license to practice medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC --- Experience: New grads or experienced Physicians welcome. --- Passionate: Passionate about patient welfare you understand the importance of delivering high quality care in the context of complex health care systems. --- A Strong Communicator: Understanding the importance of continuous and effective communication, you are highly skilled at listening, engaging and consulting with diverse stakeholders including patients, internal and external healthcare professionals and caseworker teams.
