District 19 Community Services Board, located in Petersburg, VA,
is seeking an experienced administrative assistant for
theIntellectualDevelopmentalDisability Case Management Program.
Essential duties of this position include: performing receptionist
duties in a courteous and professional manner; input of data;
drafting correspondence; verifying eligibility of benefits and
completing financials; ensuring consumer confidentiality; creating
and maintaining statistical data;filing,and ordering and
maintaining office supplies. Must be able to work independently
with supervisor on site and complete assignments with minimal
Successful applicant must have a minimum of: high school diploma
or equivalent; experience providing clerical/administrative support, experience in
data entry/typing, computers to include Microsoft Word and Excel;
excellent communication and organizational skills.
Prefer Experience working ina behavioral health setting.
Preferred qualifications: some college, experience with
reimbursement and electronic records. A bilingual (English/Spanish)
candidate is preferred.
Starting salary for new employees will be based on the prospective
employee's knowledge, skills and abilities directly relating to the
position's duties. Starting salaries for new employees will not
exceed the advertised maximum and will be based on the availability
of funding within the current budget.
Position is a grade 202. Minimum annual salary is $26,500.00
