About the Opportunity
Our National IT Client Services division is seeking an entry
level professional to join their Governance and Communications team
as an Associate Creative Specialist.
As the Associate Creative Specialist, you will report to the
Manager- IT Business Services and work on the team responsible for
developing, managing, and executing strategic communications,
including channels and content for internal and external
communications. You will provide communications support for System
IT leadership to help fulfill the organization`s ongoing
high-priority objectives and goals; and use your experience and/or
education creating compelling multi-media communications to work on
a variety of projects and simplify complex, technical content to
make it more consumable and engaging.
What You Will Do:
Execute creative vision of IT communications team by developing
high-quality, compelling multimedia deliverables including
graphic/web design, video, and audio
Collaborate with writers, web developers and project teams to
plan, analyze, organize, and execute assigned creative projects
Assist in the development of multimedia for use in news stories,
meetings, conferences, and events
Engage project teams and departmental stakeholders to gain
experience and understanding of business goals and System IT's
Participate in content strategy sessions to support the
development and achievement of organizational communication
Produce sketches or digitally rendered creative concepts to
communicate ideas to clients
Cross-train across interactive design and multimedia functions,
including, but not limited to, photography, videography, and
digital platform channels
- Continuously expand and develop knowledge of new design tools,
trends, and technology; identify and incorporate tools that most
effectively meet the team's needs
Bachelor's Degree preferred
1 - 3 years of relevant work experience
Fundamental knowledge of graphic design and multimedia
software/trends; Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects
and priorities within scope and expected timeframes
Strong communication skills, with the ability to relay required
information and concepts to all levels of the organization
Passion for continuously learning new skills and knowledge of
software, processes, and techniques
