• Participates in OnCall Rotation As Needed
• Manages the nursing care of all post-op patients who enter the PACU in support of HCA ethical and compliance principles and values
• Works closely with the anesthesia department and assists in coordination of patient care
• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting all aspects of patient care
• Delegates appropriate tasks to unlicensed personnel and provides required supervision
• Works closely with all health care providers to facilitate and coordinate efficient, effective, and quality healthcare
• Evaluates patient’s signs and symptoms; and records and reports results
• Sets priorities and modifies patient care in response to changing conditions by utilizing problem solving skills and exhibiting good judgment
• Collaborates with physicians regarding patient progress towards the outcome attainment

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)
• BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
• Tuition Reimbursement Program ($5,250/calendar year) 

• Current Registered Nurse License in this state
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)
• PALS and ACLS certification (required)

• 1 year of experience as a RN with demonstrated competency in critical care or post anesthesia care (required)
