General description
The North American Demand Planner will perform system analysis on
the overall product delivery and supply chain process to identify
areas for performance improvement and help implementation of
recommended change; Manage product allocation to distribution
centers from sales forecasts and oversee max and min inventory
system.
Essential functions & responsibilities
Responsible for coordination of shipments of ChemTreat orders being
exported from the United States direct to customer and third party
logistic operations
Controlling the inventory process and supply chain for all
warehouses - including an annual physical inventory; Inventory
Turns; Operating cost
Suggest and implement appropriate procurement methods (JIT, Reorder
Point, Consignment, Reducing Lead Times, or Schedule Releases)
based on product specifications, supplier, and demand to optimize
material velocity and availability
Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional groups to improve
Quality, Delivery, and Productivity
Supplemental responsibilities
Approve related invoices
Prepare monthly reports
Communicate with sales, product management, customer service
Entering all restock shipments into the system
Resolving problems
Act as focal point and communicate actual and potential material
availability problems
Monitor implementation of Root Cause/Corrective Action plans to
short term and permanent solutions to material supply issues

Inventory Management experience; Logistics experience
Technical, Analytical skills and business knowledge

Organizational skills; Self-management
Advanced understanding of Excel
Education & experience
Four-year college degree required
Minimum two years' experience in raw material/demand
planning
