Accounts Payable Clerk

Hours

8:30am-5:00pm

This is a Full-Time position.

The Jefferson Hotel is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Accounting Team.

--- Check approved invoices for mathematical accuracy and sales and use tax when needed. Verify invoice amounts to purchase orders when applicable.
--- Vouch invoices daily.
--- Process bi-weekly checks to vendors
--- Process bi-weekly virtual credit card payments to vendors
--- Maintain Accounts payable filing and scanning of invoices
--- Research vendor inquiries and reconcile discrepancies
--- Prepare credit applications
--- Maintain records for 1099 preparation.
--- Perform month-end duties for closing including general ledger account reconciliations
--- Assist in telephone coverage including guest inquiries
--- Special projects as assigned

2 - 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable or accounting
Strong organizations skills with attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft office software is required
Effective verbal and written communication skills
