Job Description:

Cyber Defense Group, a cybersecurity company based in Los Angeles is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive the sales cycle and work directly with our CEO! Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

We are looking for a self-motivated, flexible, team-oriented and creative sales representative. It is an added advantage if you have experience in developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will be responsible for driving the sales cycle from establishing a customer contact till signing a deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service.
This position is remote with occasional travel and will require an in person meetup every other month.
Responsibilities

  • Tenaciously prospecting, qualifying and capturing leads as sales opportunities through prospecting via phone, Internet and social media platforms
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline
  • Creatively following up on inbound leads to further peak prospects interest
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Maintain velocity to drive activity, prospective customer engagement and most importantly, revenue goals
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and our team
  • Track metrics and build reports to present to the CEO
  • Stay up-to-date with products/services and pricing/payment plans
    Requirements
    • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Manager or similar role
    • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (eg: inbound, outbound, field sales)
    • Track record of achieving sales quotas
    • Ability to be flexible and work in a rapidly changing, collaborative, fast-paced environment
    • Experience working in CRM and Office product suites
    • Understanding of sales performance metrics
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
    • BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field
    • Minimum 1 - 3 of professional experience in sales, business development, lead generation, outbound calling or equivalent
