companySummaryPartners with leadership teams to lead the strategic
plan as it relates to the company's Continuous Improvement Business
System. Develops, deploys, and progresses to maturity the business
system roadmap across assigned business units and grows the
adoption of the Continuous Improvement Business System for maximum
impact and cultural transformation across the company. Works with
assigned leadership teams to align and execute against the
Continuous Improvement Business System strategy, and fosters the
creation of a continuous improvement culture that achieves business
goals. Core Responsibilities
- Partners with assigned teams to identify, develop, and deliver
key performance indicators (KPI's) throughout the organizations
aligned to functional and company-wide objectives.
- Leads the development of Continuous Improvement capabilities
throughout assigned functions, driving all Key Performance
Indicators (KPI's) aligned with profitable growth. Cultivates an
action-biased culture of continuous improvement to improve business
KPI's and achieve business objectives aligned to corporate
goals.
- Leads through facilitation, and enables the implementation of
the Continuous Improvement (CI) Business System within assigned
functions.
- Establishes and matures a Lean Management System (tiered daily
accountability, visual management, gemba walks, leader standard
work, etc.) and other coaching tools to transform the culture.
- Works with functional teams to streamline processes that
improve business objectives, with a specific focus on the customer
experience, efficiency, and profitable growth.
- Provides support to develop Lean expertise and capability
within the organization at all levels.
- Improves the decision-making model and problem-solving
capabilities within high performance teams to increase the autonomy
and pace of change.
- Provides regular, ongoing reporting and communications to
commercial, functional, and Business System leadership regarding
maturity of the CI Business System.
- Collaborates with other CI Business System teammates to
leverage and share best practices, and drive improvements to the CI
Business System Roadmap, tools, and technology.
- Ability to travel up to 50% , domestic and international
Qualifying Experience
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in related field (Business,
Finance, Engineering, Project Management, etc.); Master's Degree
preferred
- 10 or more years of process improvement, continuous
improvement, and/or project management experience
- 8 or more years of experience implementing Lean based business
systems
- Leadership experience in commercial, finance, operations,
supply chain, product management, or program management functions
highly preferred
- Or any combination of education and experience to meet the
above requirements
- Hands on track record of implementing successful Lean-based
business systems: Strategy Deployment, X-Matrix facilitation, A3
Thinking, Lean Leadership (Daily Management, Visual Management,
Gemba Walks, Leader Standard Work), Value-Stream Mapping, Kaizen
events
- Proven track record for developing, training, and coaching
teams
- Healthcare experience a plus
- Change Management, and ability to act as an influential change
agent
- Microsoft Office expertise Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Hands on track record of implementing successful Lean-based
business systems: Strategy Deployment, X-Matrix facilitation, A3
Thinking, Lean Leadership (Daily Management, Visual Management,

- Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing
comprehensive continuous improvement approaches/methodologies to
advance an organization's strategy and goals
- Strong ability to anticipate future needs of the organization
and make decisions in a changing environment
- Great communicator, demonstrated ability in solid written,
oral, and presentation-giving skills
- High ethical standards to support a professional business code
of conduct
- Passion for driving improvement and leading change in complex
environments
- A holistic thinker who can look enterprise-wide to integrate
and streamline systems for optimal benefit
