Position Description Review and analyze Patent Applications and,
based on the US and International patent classification structures,
determine a likely patent classification and a series of sub
classifications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include
analysis, research and complex processing operations requiring
meticulous attention to detail, and utilization of automated
systems to conduct research and collaborate among other
classifiers. Performs a variety of tasks requiring technical
knowledge, organizational skills and judgment to meet program
goals, performance metrics and quality standards. Works under
supervision. Reports to a manager. Qualifications Education: A
Bachelor of Science in Industrial chemistry and Chemical
Engineering or equivalent mix of education and experience.
Experience: A minimum of 0 - 2 years' work experience in a related
field or related civilian/military training in ition to the above
education requirement would be highly beneficial to this position.
Travel: Some travel may be required ******************************
Security Clearance: Applicant selected will be subject to a
government security investigation and must meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information. This position
supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to
