General Summary

Review, research and process accounts payable and direct order billing

Essential Job Functions


- Perform billing and payable functions for Accounts Payable.

- Execute 3-way match with existing purchase orders with vendor invoices and create Purchase Orders, if appropriate.

- Perform timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and credit memos for payment.

- Work with purchasing managers and vendors to resolve purchase order and/or invoice discrepancies in a quick and efficient manner.

- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues within 30 days.

- Research and resolve customer billing discrepancies in Direct Order shipments (ex. Shortages, Damages, Pricing, Returns, etc.).

- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries within 24 hours.

- Research and resolve open items that have been received but not vouchered.

- Assist with preparation of monthly in-transit journal entry.

- Perform other duties as assigned including cross training to support areas within the Accounts Payable department.
