What You Can Expect As a Warehouse Safety and Fleet Coordinator, you are going to be looked to for effective communication between the crews for warehouse, safety, and fleet management. You will keep our crews and warehouse safe! When not looking after our crews, you will be managing the warehouse utilizing your forklift operator skills, to maintain proficient inventory control. In addition, you will oversee a fleet of over 40 Box trucks to ensure safe operation for all of our teams. Finally, your day-to-day will consist of, but not be limited to: Track material usage for reordering and coordinate end of month inventory recounts Monitor and maintain a clean and organized warehouse free of hazards Deliver material to job sites via box truck should it be deemed necessary Facilitate weekly safety/toolbox awareness training and inspect all tools according to safety guidelines Documentation of safety infractions during field visits, including post-accident/injury interview, screening, reporting and follow-up for compliance with company procedures Facilitate new hire employee safety training and tool issue Facilitate new driver certification exams, medical examinations, and road test Vehicle licensing and inspections for mechanical maintenance, safety, and cleanliness Facilitate Verizon Connect Reveal GPS software maintenance and upkeep Provide EZ Pass crew requests and tracking Vehicle decal/lettering scheduling To Be Successful Drivers license required with a good driving record Must be a qualified forklift and skid-steer operator, familiar with delivery truck unloading Mechanical knowledge desired with attention to scheduled maintenance requirements Safety background, OSHA knowledgeable, construction experience desired but not required Bilingual in English & Spanish a real plus For Your Safety Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs Able to push booms, mops, vacuum cleaner, lawnmower, dolly, etc. Must be able to bend, twist and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees Must be able to stand for extended periods of time IBP is an equal opportunity employer.
