Job Description:

This Analyst role will involve several main areas of responsibility:

Support Customer Service Initiatives through active participation in the Manage My Loan Agile Pod

Compile Monthly and Weekly KPIs for Executive Management, includes enhancing and automating existing process to the extent possible

Design and Implement Data Quality Monitoring for critical Servicing data elements

On point for ad-hoc data requests for Servicing, Risk, and Compliance efforts

Primary responsibilities & role expectations -include:

Work with various audiences at multiple leadership levels in the organization, which will require sound communication skills and business acumen, in addition to strong technical and analytical skills

Interactively discuss requirements with internal stakeholders, learn business processes, documenting requirements appropriately, and provide subject matter expertise to internal customers on data and reporting

Conduct research needed to obtain access to key data sources and consult with subject matter experts to understand operational data definitions

Design, develop, and deliver transaction level and aggregate level reporting, including process exception reports, key performance indicatory reporting, etc.

Trouble-shoot reporting anomalies and modify existing reporting packages as business needs require

Implement automation of standard reporting

Establish written procedures for key functions to enable cross-training and contingency planning Manage projects to timely completion and communicate status updates, including risks to deadlines

Identify business opportunities

Analyze business problems and generate hypotheses

Analyze data to prove hypothesis and make recommendations for improvement

Communicate analysis insights and progress on implementation

Required Skills/Experience:

3 years prior banking experience including concentrations in reporting development and business analysis

3 years experience in SAS , SQL, Oracle BI, especially Base SAS

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel

Strong Analytical and Computer Skills

Ability to work with reporting customers to understand requirements

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience with mortgage originations, servicing and/or default, as well as understanding of Compliance and Risk Requirements

Knowledge of MSP, Passport, and/or BDE

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

Bachelors Degree, preferably in Quantitative field (such as Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Statistics, etc.)

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: -40

Work Schedule: -Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
