Responsibilities
--- Develops plans including budgets and schedules to meet
contractual/project requirements for an assigned major portion of a
program--- Establishes and defines program plan requirements and
performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans---
Coordinates interdepartmental development of program plans---
Interfaces with vendors and customers and performs extensive
research/investigations as required--- Monitors and reports
performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and
schedule objectives are met--- Leads, guides and mentors
less-experienced team members
Qualifications
Qualifications - Required--- Degree in Science, Engineering,
International Affairs/Policy or related discipline--- Experience in
defense acquisition program management related to weapon systems
acquisition and life cycle management; and a minimum of five (5)
years out of ten (10) years of recent work experience related to
international acquisition programs --- Mid-Level: Experience in
defense acquisition program management related to weapon systems
acquisition and life cycle management; and a minimum of three (3)
years out of six (6) years of recent work experience related to
international acquisition programs --- Experience in a business or
technical position supporting strategic planning efforts in major
DoD, other government agency, or private sector acquisition
program. --- Possesses demonstrated experience in Joint Service or
international cooperative projects within the DoD or other
government agency. --- Knowledge of the Security
Assistance/Security Cooperation (SA/SC) programs to include the
understanding of the FMS sales process from case development,
implementation, execution, to closure. --- Possesses demonstrated
experience working with foreign disclosure and releasability
processes and procedures. --- Possesses demonstrated robust
initiative, and the ability to work independently under general
supervision and function as part of an interdisciplinary team -
