About this job

CarMax is looking for a Marketing Analyst to advance our Local Markets strategy. As a member of the Local Marketing team, you will partner with a cross-functional team to evolve our local marketing strategy.

Responsibilities of Role

• Conduct deep dives into market performance to diagnose reasons for deviations from expected performance. Recommend actions to improve market performance
• Partner with teams across Marketing, Strategy and Finance to create market performance targets
• Measure impact of marketing and other investments and recommend optimizations
• to improve ROI
• Create and distribute reports to influence strategic decision-making
  Qualifications and Requirements
  
  • BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, or related field
  • 1+ years of marketing analysis, financial analysis, strategic analysis, engineering or similar experience
  • Experience using SQL, Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint strongly preferred
  • Experience with advanced analytics, statistics and modeling is a plus
  • Marketing analysis experience a plus but not required
