This senior level individual contributor will be accountable for strategic business development in an assigned market or segment with a high level of complexity within Wells Fargo Retail Programs. This individual will own business development within the Builder community by sourcing new relationships and growing existing and newly established relationships. In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in solicitation of mortgages for various sources including realtors, builders, financial professionals, and non-profit housing agencies supporting first-time home buyers
  • Develop relationships within an assigned community
  • Review and analyze best mortgage loans based on client's need in order to ensure compliance and maximum customer satisfaction
  • Independently resolve moderately complex situations and lead team to meet Mortgage Specialty Sales deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of Mortgage Specialty Sales policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with Mortgage Specialty Sales peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • May lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for lower level staffRequired Qualifications, US:
    • 4+ years of Mortgage Specialty Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:

        • Develops and maintains relationships with prospective and current builder clients to increase builder business and market share within a market; creates regional support systems to originate and service builder business. Trains and mentors new construction specialists in assigned market on builder lending practices.Specifically as part of the Wells Fargo National Builder Division, this individual will focus on strategic external business development and prospecting of new Builder clients while supporting the Retail Sales teams by providing education on Builder programs and collaborating in tactical business development. The Regional Builder Sales Consultant is a senior individual contributor accountable for strategic business development in an assigned market or segment with a high level of complexity within Wells Fargo Retail Programs. The Consultant plans and executes strategic activities, projects, and campaigns that directly support the optimization of efforts to grow sales/ revenue/ profit/ market share in an assigned market or segment.Responsibilities include:
        • Selecting best combination of channels to improve effectiveness and efficiency of coverage
        • Meeting the unique needs of assigned customer/ business segments
        • Developing relationships with internal and/ or external clients
        • Developing sales and/ or marketing strategies and campaigns
        • Establishing and enhancing relationships with various WF sales and functional groups to develop and execute programs to achieve market penetration, loyalty and profitability goals
        • Defining sales goals, metrics, and tracking
        • Developing and executing appropriate communications, processes, and sales training
        • Maintaining/ developing expert knowledge of program
        • Ensuring adherence to compliance regulations and policies
        • This Regional Builder Sales Consultant is an outside business development position with a focus on building our presence in the Builder community. Responsibilities will include partnering with distributed sales leadership and Home Mortgage Consultants (HMCs) to assist them in serving Builder customers as well as creating new referral networks within the Builder community.Specifically, responsibilities include:
        • Accountability for engaging with Branch Managers and their teams in key markets to drive higher new construction purchase productivity
        • Working with market management to create local strategy for increasing lending opportunities to Builder customers
