This position will be supporting the US Navy''s AN/BYG-1 Tactical Control System (TCS), helping to build the Submarine Combat System delivered to the United States Navy (USN) and Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Submarine fleet. Essential Functions:Conducting subsystem and system of systems testing at our location and othersWorking in an Agile environment with engineers across the program to verify our deliveries to the NavyAnalyzing how our software meets system, functional and performance requirementsInstalling test bays and troubleshooting anomaliesCommunicating and proactively resolving issues with engineers from other subsystems to determine where issues lie and how we can address them as a project team Required Skills:Must have strong US Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician experienceFormal testing experience on a DoD production delivery environmentExperience working proactively with local and remote test team membersSolid verbal and written communications skills using Microsoft Office productsExperience with testing in an Agile development environmentAbility to travelKnowledge of requirements management and system modeling toolsWorking knowledge of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories Required Experience:US Navy Submarine Fire Control or SONAR Technician (FT/STS) experience is REQUIRED.Bachelor''s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience).Secret Security clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalizationValid U.S. Driver''s License required What will set you apart:Experience working in the SWFTS submarine communityCommunication among your peers and up the chainRecognition of relevant information, and clear communication of issues and alternatives Craig Technologies is an EEO Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other non-job-related protected status.
