Cabling Technician - Richmond, VAPart TimeLOCATION: -

• Richmond, VA -DESCRIPTION:We are seeking part-time individuals to assist our client with the installation and when necessary, decom of infrastructure cable (cat6/Fiber). -Technician should be familiar with working in a data center environment. - Experience with terminating and testing of cat6/cat6a cable is required. - Ideally, technicians is familiar with all tasks associated with the installation and build-out of Voice/Data/Network infrastructure cabling systems. -REQUIRMENT SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in networking/structured cabling environment -
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer interface skills and computer skills is a must.
  • Read and understand engineering diagrams and spreadsheets.
  • Familiar with working with and testing all types of fiber.
  • Experience in installing and terminating Cat6/Cat6A copper cable.
