Are you up for the dare?This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.As a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for the coordination of all first line management functions regarding production planning, production output, equipment maintenance, management of people, quality, safety, and sanitation of the processing and departments. In this role you will be required to be a problem solver that drives Continuous Improvement efforts across the plant. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct supervision of hourly employees in the processing department.Be a catalyst for people development through mentoring, coaching and performance management.Manage the production schedule to maximize output while minimizing costs including active participation in problem solving to achieve these results.Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards (compliant), on time and meeting consumer expectations through coaching of employees.Achieve high levels of asset intensity by reducing unplanned stops, speed loss, waste generation and optimizing planned downtime performance.SHIFT:Nights from 7:00pm-7:00am, alternating schedule that has 3 workdays one week and 4 workdays the nextBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED required2+ years
experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment1+ years
