BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 12 Months with possibility of extensionJob Type: 40 hours work week Pay Rate: $55.00/hr - $60.00/hr on W2 Job DescriptionFunctional/ Manual Tester Required Skills 1. Strong Functional Testing 2. QTest/ALM 3. SQL 4. 5-8 years of Strong Functional testing in agile lifecycle 5. Working Knowledge of Defect management process, Risk Framework and mitigation, and Enterprise Testing standards 6. Extensive expertise with QA Deliverables tool set - (Quality Center, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project/Excel) 7. Expert in writing SQL queries 8. Agile Methodology/SDLC 9. Good Communication 10. Self-starter and able to work independently Desired Skills 1. Organized and able to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment 2. Highly motivated, able to work independently 3. Strong problem solving and analytical skills 4. Experience with Global model 5. Excellent interpersonal skills, Communicates Effectively, builds relationships, Influences others 6. Willingness to learn and adapt to changes Characteristics of a top performer: communication Scope of Work: Functional tester responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Responsible for detecting defects in lower lane testing and analyzing UAT defect leakage. Self starter who is proficient in agile testing methodology and willing to work in global testing model. Not a lead role with no direct reports.
