Rebate Analyst
Location: Capital Footprint
Salary: $60,000 to $75,000 with bonus potential.
Position Summary:
Develop and execute a strategy to secure unrealized margin
opportunities across the Capital Electric footprint.
Responsibilities:
Initial main scope of work will focus on identifying profit
improvement opportunities at the transactional level through
comprehensive data analytics that identify where special price
agreements with vendors can be applied to sales transactions
Work closely with sales leaders, executive staff, and the
operations team to identify and recapture missed margin
opportunities.
Analyze current Special Pricing Agreement (SPA) offerings by vendor
and customer to develop margin improvement plans.
Identify "best cost" available to the company by vendor and develop
strategy of negotiation with vendor.
Lead and monitor post sale margin mining initiatives at the area
level and provide direct actionable feedback to the commercial
teams to improve margin
Develop field level tools and training to ensure all appropriate
client accounts are attached to available SPA's
Qualifications:
Four Year bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma or
equivalent required
Minimum two years of direct experience in a data analytics role
Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Power Point
Ability to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.
Ability to strategically identify and secure unrealized margin
opportunities across the Capital footprint
Electrical industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Strong organization and management skills
Strong communication and presentation skills.
