NOSC Infrastructure Tier 1 AnalystJob Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: NoneEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: LocalThe Opportunity:CCI is seeking a NOSC Infrastructure Tier 1 Analyst to support a 24x7x365 enterprise operations center. Analysts will monitor network management tools, analyze problems, troubleshoot, coordinate, and report on operational issues related to the enterprise network infrastructure. This position is customer-facing and requires excellent customer service skills, professionalism, and the ability to work under stress. Flexibility to work assigned shifts is essential.The NOSC Infrastructure Tier 1 Shifts are:

• Sun - Tues and every other Wed 7:00AM - 7:30 PM
• Sun - Tues and every other Wed 7:00PM - 7:30 AM
• Thurs - Sat and every other Wed 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Thurs - Sat and every other Wed 7:00PM - 7:30 AMThe work location is the Nebraska Ave Complex (NAC) in Washington, DC, with telework authorized. Candidates must reside in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia area and be able to commute to the NAC.Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line investigation and diagnosis of incidents, logging details into ServiceNow.
  • Monitor Network and Cloud Management Tools, respond to alerts and incident tickets.
  • Support WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security at Tier I.
  • Install and support remote access platforms like VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
  • Assign unresolved incidents to higher support levels or ISPs, coordinate restoration.
  • Update vendors and stakeholders on incident status and escalate high-priority failures.Qualifications:Required:
    • Ability to obtain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD)
    • Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience (or 9 years if no degree)
    • Routing/switching experience in an enterprise network environment
    • Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP protocols
    • Experience with Cisco CLI and configurations
    • Basic cloud fundamentals and monitoring experience
    • Experience with Network Management Tools and Ticketing Systems
    • Strong customer service and communication skillsDesired:
      • Understanding of ITIL concepts
      • Experience with wireless, VPN, IPS, WAN Accelerators
      • Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing
