Position Description CarMax's Treasury department is responsible for managing the Company's financial stability and driving shareholder returns through efficient cash management, securing necessary capital to meet operating and growth requirements of the business, managing relationships with multiple partners (lenders, advisors, accountants, legal counsel, rating agencies), and corporate risk management. Within Treasury, the Corporate Finance team is responsible for executing and administering various financial transactions (debt or structured finance transactions, such as securitizations) to support operations and investments, developing and implementing financial strategy, managing interest rate risk, and conducting analysis on a wide range of financial topics to drive value creation and facilitate strategic decisions. The Analyst/Senior Analyst plays a pivotal role in the execution of CarMax's financial strategy, managing financial programs, and supporting various projects and business units. * Provide analytical support on various ongoing and potential Corporate Finance projects, including auto loan receivable securitization, capital markets transactions, interest rate risk management, lease financing, etc. * Develop and maintain financial models to forecast, assess, and report on complex financial transactions * Administer multiple ongoing financing programs and ensure compliance with applicable transaction terms * Negotiate favorable financing terms with counterparties and coordinate efforts of financial advisors, legal counsel, and various internal departments/subsidiaries * Work with cross-functional teams, including Tax, Accounting, Financial Reporting, FP&A, and Legal to support broad corporate and Treasury-specific initiatives * Prepare material for presentation to outside investors, rating agencies, senior management, and the board of directors * Actively participate in managing relationships with banks, investors, and credit rating agencies * Ad-hoc financial analyses, as needed Position Requirements * Two or more years of experience in financial and/or analytical role * Four year college degree required * Knowledge of finance, accounting, and forecasting principles * Proficient with Microsoft Excel * MBA and/or CFA desirable but not requiredSDL2017
