Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:Extract relevant sales data from in-house systems to provide Sales Management and the Agency Force with contest/bonus/incentive calculations, updates, and results. Aide Sales Management with ad hoc reporting and strategic planning. Support Sales Management in planning and execution of all sales meetings, conferences, and incentives trips.
PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Facilitate the data needs of the Sales Department by executing appropriate queries, designing & generating data reports and handling special databases.
  • Analyze sales data and make recommendations to assist in obtaining strategic goals and help meet sales targets
  • Track and document all agency force personnel changes maintaining a comprehensive database of agents, VFB and partner agent codes, county/office assignments and applicable management hierarchy
  • Assist Sales Management with New Agent code and book of business assignments and oversee book of business reassignment process for new agents
  • Generate and distribute accurate bonus, contest/incentive and ranking reports
  • Review agent commissions (renewal and new business) to ensure accuracy of system calculations and when applicable, manually calculate commissions for unique situations
  • Collaborate with Sales Management, IT, Accounting, and HR departments to ensure agent commissions, bonuses and taxable fringe data are accurately calculated, documented, approved and implemented into payroll processing
  • Serve as the Sales Department's representative on cross-departmental committees.ADDITIONAL DUTIES
    • Assist Sales Management in the planning and execution of all sales meetings, conferences and incentive trips
    • 10% travel required (regional only, no flights)MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
      • College Degree or equivalent work experienceMINIMUM SKILL QUALIFICATIONS
        • Technical
          • Ability to work within various databases executing queries and generating reports

            • Prior experience calculating / overseeing Sales Compensation & Incentives
            • Prior accounting or payroll processing experience
            • Insurance industry experience
            • Computer program development experience
