Please review the following job description:

To support the Bond Department by providing timely, accurate service to existing and prospective clients; to be familiar with underwriting guidelines and surety company policies; to maintain a rapport with clients and underwriters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.Receive phone calls, emails and walk in clients Receive and process bond requests Execute bid, performance and payment bonds Process billing and invoicing of accounts Execute client prequalification requests Address all customer service requests in a timely manner Maintain accurate client underwriting files Contact clients for collection of premiums as necessary Assist with seminar/event planning activities as needed

Required Skills or Competencies

Grade assignment based primarily on the individual's level of experience and production capacity to service a large client portfolio State issued property & casualty license will be required within 90 days of hire date Superb interpersonal skills Ability to excel in a fast paced environment Knowledge, or ability to quickly learn, various computer programs

Desired Skills and Competencies

Experience in the surety industry Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships
