Job Description:
The Lead Route Service Representative (or 'Lead RSR, LRSR') will
be a specialized position unique to select dual channel shops
supporting DFD. The LRSR is primarily responsible for daily
delivery of fresh Krispy Kreme Doughnuts on a designated route.
This includes, providing accurate and timely delivery of the
product to customers, utilizing all available tools to reconcile
delivery in compliance with specific retailer processes and
merchandising product to maximize sales per establish customer
planograms. Secondarily, the LRSR provides DFD SME support for the
shop. The position will be deployed in instances where additional
SME support is required. This can occur within a shop that has a
relatively limited DFD business (where the GM, AM Retail or AM
Production is responsible for overall DFD management) or within
shops that have an extensive DFD business (where an AM DFD is
responsible for overall DFD management).Depending on how the
position is deployed, the position will report to either the Shop
General Manager or the Assistant Manager DFD. The Lead RSR position
supports shop management by providing SME support for the
end-to-end DFD process - order management, driver training,
shop-level fleet / equipment operations, and customer service. In
short, they will be responsible for supporting all functions of DFD
operations. A successful Lead RSR will perform all duties in
accordance with company policy, standards, or established

DOINGThe Lead RSR provides SME support for a shops' DFD business.
Given the nature of this role, the responsibilities can be broad
and exact activities will depend on the needs of the given
situation. Responsibilities can include:Sales & Customer
ServiceIdentify off-premise customers for service.Establish and
enhance customer relations through direct contact with customer
base.Coordinate and executes multiple off-premise programs.Enhance
Customer Service Excellence by conducting market visits/audits
gaining customer inputCoordinate and execute point of sale (POS)
relating to promotional and or special activity by account or
market.Support Brand Integrity.Provide off-premise data to GM / AM
DFD as required.Supports GM / AM DFD to schedule adequate staffing
for daily operations and/or safely and properly performs functions
of any open department position as ternal
CommunicationsProfessional interaction with Shop GM / AM DFD and
supporting staff.Works with shop team in compiling explanations of
data for the reconciliation process.Forecast and project product
needs; communicate vertically and ensure municates and works with
shop team regarding order entry.Responsible for communication of
and adherence to Krispy Kreme standards.Fleet ManagementWorks
directly with Shop GM / AM DFD to plan and communicate truck needs
and availability.Works with service provider in negotiations,
quotes, invoicing, warrantee work, etc.Provides data collection and
entry into the order management system.Logistics for truck(s)
referenced for repair or CER process.Review fuel statements weekly
for discrepancies. Validates and sends to Shop GM / AM DFD for
approval.TrainingTrain new and current team members and assist Shop
GM / AM DFD with data to complete related documentation as
required.Support all training initiatives.Identify needs and
qualifications of shop team for succession
planning.EquipmentDetermine and communicate needs for product
displays.Assemble and deliver product displays as needed.Assign use
of handheld computer where applicable.Perform routine fleet
cleaning and fleet maintenance where applicable.Conduct training in
proper use of handheld computer where applicable.Safety and
SanitationCommunicate and execute all safety related directives,
conduct safety meetings and training, and participates in monthly
corporate safety conference call.Monitors compliance of safety
related behavior and guidelines, takes immediate course of action
against municate and execute Krispy Kreme standards relating to
food service transportation and vestigate accidents and complete
proper procedures and documentation, report to Shop GM / AM DFD
within ply with all safety and sanitation standards.Maintain good
personal hygiene.Maintain a clean and neat uniform at all
times.Drive safely and abide all appropriate traffic rules and
regulations.Maintain a clean vehicle at all times.Maintain clean
sales displays.Report all moving violations and accidents involving
injury or property damage immediately.Vehicle MaintenanceUtilize
the Vehicle Inspection and Damage Report Form to perform routine
maintenance checks as required.Keep company vehicle clean.Perform
basic maintenance such as checking the vehicle oil level, wiper
replacement, cleaning fluid check/add, etcReport any vehicle
maintenance concerns to a supervisor.Assist the Shop GM / AM DFD in
the shuttling of trucks from the shop to the service
provider.LeadershipUphold an ethic of teamwork with fellow
employees.Maintain a sincere, courteous and respectful demeanor
with coworkers, team members, supervisors and customers.Work with
management and team members to improve performance and implement
new initiatives.Use good judgment and avoid risk taking while
operating a company vehicle.Assist Shop GM / AM DFD with the
checking of product returns and the settling of territory
