Job Description:
SUMMARY The Sales Director role is a member of the sales team
who locates prospective clients, builds relationships, persuades
through value selling, then converts them into customers. They are
responsible for managing relationships with clients and achieving
sales targets in a specific company targeted vertical . ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS/ SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively identify,
qualify new business opportunities within our industry sectors.
Mostly outbound self-lead generation (90%) Utilize prospecting
skills across multiple channels to build and maintain a robust
sales pipeline. Develop and implement tailored solutions to enhance
customer experiences. Collaborate with CRO & Marketing to stay
current on market trends and strategically position solutions.
Deliver compelling presentation and secure new clients to achieve
revenue targets. Develops contract strategy and negotiates
contracts in accordance with company standards and business
requirements. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs
and product fit. Develops sales campaigns. Oversees sales
forecasting and prepares other reports for management ongoing.
Works in conjunction with and ensures support for sales
administration, product development, marketing communications and
research. Communicates and enforces company policy and practices.
Individual Contributor role. May recommend policies and programs.
May represent company at industry association meetings and trade
shows to promote company's business, brand, products, and/or
services QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION BS degree in Communications,
Marketing, Business, Sports Marketing or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE Proven experience and proven success in another sales
quota carrying role SaaS Technology and/or Data previous roles is a
plus Knowledge of sales process, self-lead generation, and
persuasion principles Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge
of CRM software (e.g. HubSpot) is a plus Excellent
communication/presentation skills and ability to build
relationships Organizational and time-management skills are key
Enthusiastic and passionate COMPENTENCIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS Must
be able to articulate product value and address client concerns
clearly. Must have knowledge of developing and executing sales
strategies that involves understanding market trends, identifying
customer needs, and crafting tailored proposals that align with
client objectives. Negotiation experience in reaching mutually
beneficial agreements, ensuring long-term partnerships and client
satisfaction. Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
software for tracking client interactions, managing leads, and
analyzing customer data to optimize sales efforts and personalize
client engagements. Effective time management to prioritize tasks,
manage multiple accounts efficiently, and meet deadlines, which is
essential for maintaining client trust and achieving sales goals.
Salary Range: $90k - $110k plus commission WORK ENVIRONMENT This
position is a remote in-home office setting. Having a remote
professional setting is a must. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to
sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to talk, hear, see and type. TRAVEL Must be willing to
travel to clients, conferences and/or events as needed. Typically,
