Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing solutions, is seeking a Sr. Quality Control Engineer specialized in Integrated Project Quality to help reinforce our commitment to excellence. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of quality across our various engineering projects, maintaining AWS's reputation for reliability and high-performance services. The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for the total quality management of our engineering operations, deploying integrated quality control processes that are adherent to global IT standards. Together with strategic project management and technical prowess, the role will drive continual improvement initiatives and ensure the alignment of quality metrics with AWS's overarching business objectives. Develop and implement comprehensive quality control processes tailored to AWS’s project management frameworks. Coordinate with project teams to identify and mitigate quality risks early in the project lifecycle. Analyse project outcomes and prepare detailed reports on findings and improvement strategies. Oversee cross-functional team efforts to enforce quality assurance across multiple projects. Ensure compliance with national and international quality standards such as ISO 9001. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within engineering projects, employing latest quality control tools and methodologies. Proven expertise in Quality Management Systems and tools (Six Sigma, ISO standards, etc.). Strong analytical and project management skills, with a knack for problem-solving. Proficient in data analysis software and familiar with software development life cycles. Effective communication and leadership skills, capable of driving project teams towards quality benchmarks.
