announce our 2026 internship program! We are seeking candidates in
various engineering fields. Please see the below role definitions
for these opportunities. All internship opportunities are mainly
remote, but may involve in-person opportunities. Scout Space is
building a new way to see and operate in space: with a new paradigm
of data empowering every satellite to make space safer. We are a
rapidly-growing team; we are deploying real solutions to orbit over
the next 2 years; and our work will transform the face of
spaceflight. We are looking for people that bring excitement and
energy to our organization, are curious and eager to learn, and
want to help drive our programs forward. Responsibilities:
Understand and develop electrical requirements and constraints for
spacecraft sensor subsystems. Contribute to electrical design and
thermal analysis. Candidate should have full board design
experience, handling designs from block diagram stages to board
design and procurement, to final board testing and debug. Must
understand PCB layout considerations for thermal management,
typical fabrication limitations, and signal integrity of high-speed
circuits. Candidate should be familiar with designing and reading
harnessing diagrams for complex assemblies Design and develop
prototype systems for lab test equipment. The ideal candidate
should be able to design intuitive controls that are easy to
navigate under varying conditions, develop software with a simple
and intuitive interface that facilitates both manual and automated
processes, build the system with modular components that can be
easily upgraded or replaced as needs change and design with the
flexibility to integrate new testing protocols, experimental
setups, or data analysis tools as the lab's research need to grow.
Requirements: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related
field. Rising Seniors, or Graduate students only Familiarity with
PCB design in Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar LTSpice familiarity
Python familiarity Proficiency in circuit board testing and debug
tools, including but not limited to familiarity with oscilloscopes,
waveform generators, and soldering Highly preferred: Demonstrated
collaborative experience in a business or project environment.

upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and
business considerations. Standard pay for this internship is
