Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Stafford, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,452 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, CNMT or ARRT registered or registry eligible in Nuclear Medicine (If registry-eligible at time of hire, must pass registry exam within one year of hire date). Must-Have: IV starts, PACS & Nuclear Medicine procedure experience Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures. The candidate will work Monday-Wednesday from 06:30 to 19:00. Call requirements are Monday-Wednesday from 19:00 to 06:30. Weekend call is required two to three weekends a month and includes holiday requirements. Daily caseload averages five patients. The role requires experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and adult ICU settings. The candidate must have strong skills in GE equipment. The responsibilities include performing bone, brain, lung scans, gastric emptying studies, hepatobiliary studies, thyroid studies, tumor localization, and shunt evaluations. The position does not require floating to sister facilities. The candidate must be a team player and able to work independently. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend work is not required. On-call requirements must be met. Certifications in NMTCB and ARRT Advanced Certifications are preferred. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
