About the Team: As a Data Analysis Manager in Capital One’s Business Cards & Payments (BC&P) Field Strategy team, you will serve as the technical architect behind our field sales data ecosystem. You will lead the team responsible for the "how” by building the robust data foundations that allow us to scale our national sales organization with precision. You’ll collaborate with partners across product, marketing, and IT to transform raw data into a world-class infrastructure, fostering an environment where technical innovation meets strategic execution to drive our field performance to new heights. In this role, you will hold end-to-end accountability for our Field data infrastructure, specifically overseeing the data logic behind incentive engines and the tracking of upper-funnel lead health. You will be responsible for modernizing BAU reporting through automation, moving the organization away from manual data pulls toward real-time, interactive dashboards that empower our Relationship Managers. By bridging the gap between technical data engineering and executive strategy, you will ensure that our reporting is not only accurate and scalable but also acts as the primary catalyst for smarter, high-conversion business decisions across the entire funnel. Possessing strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities in addition to communication, interpersonal and leadership skills are also important. This position will be in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment where you will be handling multiple concurrent projects while working independently and in teams. This role will have a strong Business Intelligence component and those with a BI background are strongly encouraged to apply. Basic Qualifications Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a: Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field) plus at least 6 years of experience performing data analytics, or Master’s Degree plus at least 4 years of experience performing data analytics with an expectation that required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date. At least 4 years of experience performing professional data analysis work At least 4 years of experience performing programming Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics discipline At least 4 years of experience coding in Python, R, Spark, or SQL At least 4 years of experience working within process management and improvement methodologies – Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, etc. At least 2 years of experience utilizing and developing within AWS services At least 2 years of experience delivering Data Governance and Data Quality Management concepts and practices within the financial services industry Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position. This role is Hybrid, with associates expected to consistently spend three days per week in the office. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Data Analysis Manager Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Data Analysis Manager New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Data Analysis Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
